Re: truckers not wanting to deliver food to areas which have defunded police, and the issue of antifa stirring up strife and riots-

2nd amendment solution:

Allow truckers to carry weapons anywhere they go.

Allow law abiding citizens to carry.

Encourage the county sheriff to deputize law abiding citizens and form posses.

The national guard, state guard, and military can also deliver supplies.

State of emergency still exists.

Agreed. Most truckers I know carry already despite 2A unfriendly states. They have ultimate protection from Amendment 2 but their rights (all our rights) need to be unleashed into protecting themselves and their livlihoods. Unleash the 2nd Amendment!

I almost added a 3rd point in my reply to LJ but it didn't flow directly from her referenced Q. Point 3 was the large uptick in firearms purchases. Didn't the President even declare that gun stores were essential during the chicom shutdown? Was this allowing us more time and availability to prepare for personal protection?

On that note, I had to run to my local gun shop a few days ago to pick up replacements for worn clips for my purse weapon. We are rural and my gun store is out in the boonies. When we got to the store about 11am on a weekday morning the range was packed. There were even 2 local families there whom I knew had not been interested in firearms before. Times are such that making a choice to become responsible for family defense is reaching new people. That can't be bad.
