Yes, and now more info filling in the blanks. From what I read the company makes steel castings. They take raw steel and cast it into parts. The steel they use has to be purchased and the seller would know if it met the spec.
The purchased steel was inferior and the metallurgist being prosecuted now covered it up for the supplier for years.
