On second thought, this might turn out to be a good idea.
We have a gazillion too many social workers already. Having about 188% of them dispatched during a domestic dispute would do a world of good.
May I make a modest suggestion?
Let policemen and social workers live and have M$M do high risk First Responder calls.
After all, they're the absolute best, brightest and most empathetic persons imaginable in any situation, they currently examine in hindsight and present the perfect solution, so it is logical to let them deal with these things in real time.
(And after we run out of M$M, assign politicians and trial lawyers to the duty.)

The problem is societal and perpetuated by dependency upon “government.”
