Be good if they got some help while behind bars - if they stay long enough. Likely just another step down on the way to hell though. Portland had a program where they compared the pics of meth addicts over time that didn’t make it out. They get to a point where the door back is gone and no longer accessible - the change becomes irreversibly permanent.
