Yep. But you can't pump until card is approved in most locations.

In this situation at Wally World how about not scanning a few
purchases. Just put them in the carry out bag and move along.

Undoubtedly they have some kind of alarms to show items not scanned

My idea, a long time ago, was to have the scanner on the cart. When you put an item in the cart it knows it, if you take it out it knows that too. Put your card in the reader built onto the cart, walk out of store. I can’t believe nobody has developed that yet. You only have to handle items once, not load, unload onto conveyor, load back into cart.

In a gas station, MY purchases goesinto the gas tank of my vehicle for transport away from the station.

IF I buy bout $200 of items at Walmart-—there isn’t even enough space to put all those items while I continue scanning what I bought. Will I have to take a 2nd cart into that area to place my check items into>

IF Wal Mart doesn’t want my business-—fine.

But I WILL walk away from a loaded cart & they can put it all back on to the shelves.

Even the self-checkout lines usually have a store employee there to help out a customer doesn’t know how to do something, such as ring up fruit and vegetables that don’t have an ID tag. And I think they need to check ID for purchases of alcohol. You usually have to buy cigarettes at the customer service desk; cigarettes are always behind the counter.
