Asked my dad once when about seven yrs old, “Daddy why don’t we have Communism? It’s seems like a good thing with everyone being equal and all.” He replied, “Son, we don’t have communism in America because no matter how good it sounds, somebody has to carry out the trash.”
I used to listen to “Imagine” and think about how wonderful it might be. Then reality set me straight.
