I'd trust the people who buy the product....

Just give it away. It is called multi cultural privilege.

I once saw a Walmart employee stocking the liquor section. The high end stuff like Hennessy, Johnny Walker, and Chevis
was kept in lock cabinets with a glass front. I noticed she was putting EJ Brandy, the cheapest of the liquor, in a locked container. I asked her why she bothered locking EJ, and she told me EJ “walks”. She wouldn’t say anymore, but I got the picture.

At every Wal Mart I have shopped at, Electronics are locked up. So phones, tablets, computers, etc. will be left out in the open? Good luck.

Theyll just always be out of stock.

What Walmart is saying is they are willing to take loses thru theft
on these products to pacify BLM Movement.
And there will be lots of loses.

From what I recall, *all* small beauty products were behind locked cases at Walmart. We know why they did this, but I thought they were trying to treat everyone the same by locking up small beauty items that were easily placed in a pocket or purse. That is how it is in my area as well. All beauty products are locked up.

“Cartridges of color?”

I dont understand that outrage. Apparently these products were being stolen so wal mart locked them up. Nobody said whom was stealing the products, for all we know it could have been white supremacists.
To: Red in Blue PA
They will be stolen and then Walmart will reduce the items they carry

the implication that the customers who buy these products, largely people of color, cant be trusted. They can't be trusted -- that's why the products are locked down.
To: mewzilla
Oh, I didn’t know that.
Explains a lot about store policies that seem insane, to honest people.

Every store is it’s own profit center. Prices are higher at multicultural stores.

And guess what? Even if you do catch them, no harm no foul. No cops to call anyway.

"My" WalMart has cosmetics in a blind cove, with a register that's (apparently) staffed during "critical" hours (after the local HS is let out?).
No, they're not exactly locked up - but this is probably a more labor-efficient way to do it.
