Watch gutless mayor and idiot Gov let this happen. Hope it is the beginning of end for them.

Okay. Now what? So Governor Inslee and Mayor Durkan have given them their own little sovereign territory we’ll call Antifaville. Are they going to grow their own food, procreate among each other and live their lives in hallways and lobbies from now on?

One thing I started noticing about 10 years ago is that young people I was hiring had little knowledge of long-term planning. Worse than that, they didn’t want to learn or even think about the necessity of long-term planning. Everything they did was geared to gratifying an immediate need or desire.

So, great! They’ve got this little plot of land of mostly concrete. It’s theirs. They’re not leaving. They’re now an autonomous territory. But what’s their long-term plan? There would be few among them who’ve thought beyond the weekend.

The best plan for our side might be to wait them out until boredom sets in or some new need or desire requires gratifying immediately and they’ll voluntarily leave. That’s the kind plan.

A more effective but harsh plan would be - as someone already suggested - cut the electricity (OMG! My phone is dead! I have to go back to Mommy’s basement now!) Then impose economic sanctions, where nothing new goes into the new territory and nothing but people come out. I’m sure nobody has the stomach for this option, as effective as it would be.
