If the course of COVID is about 2 weeks, then your statistics suggest that there are about 14 * 20K, or say 300K active cases in the country at the current time. This means about 1 in a thousand U.S. residents are currently "afflicted" by the virus, and most don't even know they have it.
They call this a pandemic?

I agree with your back-of-the-envelope analysis.
W.H.O. and other "Experts" finally made the "Mistake" of admitting, just two days ago, that any asymptomatic cases are totally irrelevant, except for the benefit of building up herd immunity.
Now they're trying to take back the TRUTH, saying they didn't say what the clearly said; but too late.
According to a couple of FR doctors, who ARE treating COVID patients, the average incubation period for COVID is 5.1 days, and typically 2-9 days. If we haven’t seen a spike by now, we won’t see one unless they start lying about it (which they’re already doing).
I was reading the Jacksonville newspaper’s FB page this morning - an article about the RNC convention possibly being held there. Some hand-wringing about crowding people together, infecting others, and “we all gonna die”. I had to chime in about how good the convention will be for the ravaged hotel and restaurant industries in the area, that were shut down for the “Plandemic”. And yes, I used that word. Might as well use a little editorial license while posting. LOL
The stock market no longer cares whether Trump winsYeah, right. The stock market is going up because the Fake News Media are predicting Joe Biden will win the election. Uh huh. Sure.
It's been an amazing ride for stocks over the past few months despite a torrent of bad news about the global economy. And the stock surge is taking place even though President Trump is lagging in the polls.
Their phrasing betrays them, however. They know darn well that Trump is good for stocks, so they're mystified that it's going up in the face of the Biden news.
