I'm gonna say this is a fake. The crowds never got that dense before or on Saturday. After the big hoo hah in DC I wouldn't expect the Hollywood protests to get even bigger.

The same effects that are used to make a few movie extras look like a cast of thousands was most likely used to make this movie.

I thought it might be fake as well, being Hollywood and all where everything is fake. But it is legit - huge crowd.
