Minneapolis has a very extensive Public Park system. We’ve got 5 lakes within the city limits plus greenways, parkways, and a large park at Minnehaha Falls. All of which is public land and patrolled by the park police. There are of course mutual aid agreements with adjoining municipal PDs. But I have no idea why the Park Police would have responded to this incident nor have I seen the subject addressed in the local media.

Like I said, it was a set up and where was the ‘real police’ or where they in on the set up???

Good info since many FReepers are not from that area. Do city Police have some type of coded licence plate? Of course ‘confidential “ plates for undercover work but they would not be Vanity plates(ie.. POLICE). Something is seripusly wrong here but we are not getting 10% of the story. Why was no one questioned? Why did they allow the two friends of Geo to leave. Has Minn State Police taken over? Why and where are the spokepersons missing? Many questions that will never be answered.
