During the hearing, Boampong's attorney argued his client should safely be released, saying that Boampong has a limited record of criminal convictions, as well as a good employment history as a sports club manager and for the grocery shopping service Instacart, his current employer.
Boston man.

I predicted they would kill 2-3 cops. I stand by that prediction.

>> Judge Paul Treseler dismissed a motion filed by Boampong to dismiss the 21 charges and held him without bail under a statute that allows a judge to hold a defendant accused of certain offenses without bail for up to 120 days pending trial upon clear and convincing evidence that no conditions of release will reasonably assure the safety of any other person or the community.
Im sure theres a group at the National Lawyers Guild or similar working to get this denial of bail overturned.

Well, he has only a limited criminal record. For the record he is definitely Amish.

Fired 10 rounds at 21 cops...and he’s still alive?
I’m not sure if that shows mega-restraint on the cop’s part, or mega-stupidity.

In California, he would have been released on his own recognizance. It’s the law and can be broadly applied, to a case like this, in the hands of a proper Democrat judge.

Fired 10 rounds at 21 cops...and hes still alive? I don't know the situation, but it is possible the shooter was in the forefront of a crowd and firing at him would have endangered the looters behind him. /sarc (maybe)
