Most of the rioters and looters are local blacks, even though the media and politicians (including Trump) have tried to spread the blame. Trump does it to avoid having the libel against him as “racist” being amped up even more. Democratic pols do it to deflect attention from the fact that blacks are the primary cause of the theft and destruction. In a world where Republicans owned the media, Republican pols wouldn’t have to prostrate themselves like this. No non-Western country would have to lie like this. But that’s the result of the systematic erosion of our civilizational confidence. We feel we have to make excuses for and obscure the failings of a systematically dysfunctional minority because racism.
