House Speaker Nancy Pelosi held up a Bible and quoted scripture to chide President Trump one day after he held up a Bible for a photo opportunity at St. John's Episcopal Church during the protests in Washington, D.C.
At the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, Pelosi took a shot at the commander in chief as she joined other members of Congress in a ceremony recognizing the House bill to defend the human rights of Uighurs.
"Last night, when I saw the president hold up a Bible, I was thinking of so many things in the Bible that would have been appropriate in terms of the humanity of all people," Pelosi said as she held up a Bible.
The California Democrat quoted the book of Ecclesiastes and said that this was a "time to heal," she added, "It's long overdue time for us to make some of that change that people were calling out for."

If I understand this correctly, it is vile and sacrilegious for Trump to use a Bible to make a point, or to make a statement

Better watch out, Nancy. On social media today, I read comments from some of your voters that it was fitting that Trump was holding a book that justified slavery.
I’ve seen a couple of different women pastors from the Episcopal denomination condemn Trump for going to that church. The church is Hallowed Ground the church is sacred ground etcetera Etc they said.
They had nothing to say that arsonists came very close to burning that church down on Sunday night. They couldn’t even give a shout out to the fireman who saved their sacred Church. Couldn’t even mentioned in passing how lucky they were the the arsonists weren’t able to penetrate the entire church campus and burn everything down. No instead everything they said was condemning Trump. Trump is the enemy Trump is sacrilegious yada yada yada....
