PARIS: RIOTs breaking out over the case of Floyd and another case from 4 years ago as reported by Faux News.
IMPORTANT: There was a meme floating around over the weekend that juxtaposed a photo of perp officer in MN next to some reported incident in France supposedly days later in France. This was a rather amazing “coincidence” - if somebody can find that meme (was not posted that I saw) and follow-up - I did *NOT* find any such French police officer black death / killing having happened in recent weeks.
HOWEVER: if there was indeed some case from 4 years ago that people in Paris are now rioting over ... we need to find that case & see if the pic I saw in meme is what it was presented as then ... because if/as so ... then this is a COPYCAT FF.
TBD + WWG1WGA :)
Paris police fire tear gas as George Floyd protests spread around the world

Riot police in Paris have fired tear gas as scattered protesters pelted them with debris and set fires during an unauthorised demonstration against racial injustice and heavy-handed police tactics.
Several thousand people had previously rallied peacefully for two hours at the main Paris courthouse as global outrage over what happened to George Floyd in the US kindled frustrations across borders and continents.
The protesters also paid tribute to Adama Traore, a French black man who died in police custody.

Adama Traoré’s death in police custody casts long shadow over French society
Young mans death in custody has become one of Frances most high-profile cases of alleged police brutality

I don’t know if Traore is the name of the person that I mentioned before - I am seeking a meme that juxtaposed a photo of Chauvin with his knee on Floyd’s neck right next to a pic of a French police officer with his knee on some other man’s neck - they look near exactly the same.
I can’t find any pics of Traore that might match this or other details on his death yet ... but I’ve not really dug much. The meme I saw was definitely wrong in that it actually had a May date in 2020 for the French event - which wasn’t right ... but if it was May 2017 or earlier than that ... then it would be interesting to compare these two for real.
