I noticed that also a few days ago when using my tablet, but can still copy and paste using my desktop computer.

I think they embed trafficking code in the snippets they give you - they may have already blacklisted so you can’t get the snippets at all (vs. just embed urls directly) ... but for future consideration, if you get a link like that from twitter, you’ll often see lots of tags appended so that they can track things and they can simply be removed to render without tracking.
