Sounds like you had an eventful day. In California I used to go to assigned voting stations, and check the rolls to see what Republicans had not yet voted, then call them and remind them to vote. Then go back in a few hours and check again.

Jun 02, 2020 · The final vote totals for the Jackson County primary election are in. There were a total of 7,199 total voters. Of those who voted, 5,265 voted with Republican ballots, while 1,925 voted with democrats

They were Unable to get anyone to run on the D ticket locally. Many R were uncontested. (Doing a great job). When Clinton was elected 100% of county offices were held by democrats. Starting with last election none zilch. My favorite D even asked for an R ballot this time. She’s been a deputy clerk after serving for decade in office. So proud of the young man who see her good work and ignored party lines and hired her. They present quite a team. So good that the D refuse to run anyone against them.
