Cuomo warns protests could spark coronavirus comeback in New York
The demonstrations that have rocked New York City and other cities in the wake of the death of George Floyd could potentially be infecting hundreds and hundreds of people, after everything that we have done," the governor said.
"We have to take a minute and ask ourselves, what are we doing here? he asked.

“Multiple sources in the admin have now told me that Barr is the one leading the charge on stopping the riots.”
Good. AG Barr is not going to be playing bagpipes while DC burns.

Assange too ill to attend court hearing via video link
https://www.rte.ie/news/uk/2020/0601/1144782-julian-assange/
EXCERPT:
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was said to be too ill to attend the latest court hearing in his extradition case.
Assange, 48, is wanted in the US to face 17 charges under the Espionage Act and conspiracy to commit computer intrusion after the publication of hundreds of thousands of classified documents in 2010 and 2011.
He is currently being held in Londons maximum-security Belmarsh prison while the court system tries to reschedule his extradition hearing, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A brief hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court this morning was barely audible over a telephone link available for journalists to listen in to proceedings.

Blame technology. If the person standing by watching the police kill Big George had done something instead of recording it, this would not have happened. yet. Who recorded that video?
I’m not really serious. I was just thinking about that dude in Georgia who recorded his neighbors killing someone. Any videos of murders in Chicago?????
