Carlos is the one who has figured it out. I swear to you........we also had what I thought were fireworks the other night. We called our son and BIL and neighbor because they all live near by. They went off every 5 minutes! AND WE had NO planes going over that I could tell. Freee-Dame.....I am in the flight path of a very busy UPS hub in Louisville. AND commercial path as well. There are times its TOTALLY quiet in the air. THEY have to be re-routed someway for our goods and foods to travel. SO don't take my word for our digital soldiers!
