Just got back from a short walk, way too warm already so I’m going to get a move on it earlier tomorrow.

Stopped and chatted with a neighbor who lives two blocks over.

He’s 80 and can’t make any sense as to what is happening today.

He fears for our youth who have been so misled.

I had never talked politics with him before but was happy to find that he is on the same page.

As for RR yesterday, all I saw was him trying to cover his own butt.

McCabe fired back at him but that was to be expected as RR threw him under the bus.

Of course the person might have a whole fleet of $300K cars, and this is just his riot-day Rolls..

Thanks for your perspective. I didn't watch..just reported. And you are an approachable person. Glad your neighbor had someone he could talk to. We're seeing the bad side of youth...not all of our youth. The guy doing the filming someone posted said he had never gone to a protest. He saw for himself the old police car and the bad guys. I did notice the bad guys couldn't get the protesters to join in. That's a good thing.

They were shocked by who Mattis wanted as his number 2 - he was pushing for Michelle Flournoy, the same person HRC had reportedly picked to lead DOD in her Administration, acc to sources/articles at the time, such as one Politico published in Nov 2016. They put it this way:
“THE NEXT ADMINISTRATION - HILLARY CLINTON’S HISTORY-MAKING DEFENSE SECRETARY IN WAITING”. Always wondered why Mattis would want someone like that at his side? Seems unlikely she would have been loyal to the President she would have served - was he?

Men like him knew Gen Mike Flynn was loyal to the US not Russia, yet they said nothing? As Sec Def, Mattis would have had access to all intelligence. What happened to that military code of honor in Flynn’s case? What about his Commander-in-Chief? He was silent then - but not now.

hmmmm......did he have him near as he did during the first debate....to study him and figure out what he had done in the past? What better way to understand ones enemy. Getting inside the head of Mattis and his tactics of war.

2/ Trump's enemies & enemies of our country--2 different groups, later being AntiFa) have turned protest of death of human being into riots to destroy Trump and our country. The only division Trump is making now is between law & order and anarchy.
3/ Rioters burned a structure on White House grounds & media mocks him as "hiding in the bunker." Trump takes charge & says "not on my watch," and media lies that he ordered tear-gassing of peaceful protesters for a photo op.
4/ You know what, when our capitol--the capitol of the free world is under attack--I want our g-- dman president to do a photo op to show America anarchy won't prevail. And most of America agrees: they want the cities that have bent a knee to violence to get the f up.
5/ For all the worthless crap the government does, protecting lives and property is the foremost and we citizens who aren't deranged by Trump demand that.
6/ And you know what else we should demand? That the assholes who made this about Trump stand down b/c message lost is the little girl and young man comforted by the police, who seek to assure them that police seek to serve & protect & those trying to focus on real solutions.
7/7 Not defund the police crap, but i.e. addressing qualified immunity & showing law will hold officers who stand by responsible. So if you're intent on dividing country, go back to peddling your Russia, Ukraine, COVID-19 lies & let those desiring to address police abuse do so.

Trump has ‘good talk’ with Rosenstein

President Trump on Monday said he had a “good talk” with Rod Rosenstein, further dampening speculation that the president will fire his deputy attorney general.

Trump invited Rosenstein to fly with him aboard Air Force One to a law enforcement convention in Florida, and he later told the audience their conversation went well.

Trump and Rosenstein spoke for roughly 45 minutes aboard the president’s aircraft and their discussion touched on law enforcement and border issues as well as “general DOJ business,” according to the White House. Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly and Rosenstein’s top deputy, Ed O’Callaghan, also participated.

Rosenstein’s future has been an open questions for several weeks since The New York Times published an explosive report saying he discussed secretly taping Trump last year as well as using the 25th Amendment to oust him from office.

The No. 2 Justice Department official has repeatedly denied the story, but also reportedly offered to resign.

“That became a very big story, actually, folks. We had a good talk,” Trump said.

Before leaving the White House earlier Monday, Trump said he has no plans to fire Rosenstein.
