Yesterday, the little town I live near, which is also the County seat, had a demonstration on the edge of old town. (The courthouse....if they were to 'march' to the left they would have went down Main St where restaurants were practicing 'social dining alfresco etc)
The report says 250 people showed up 'about 1/2 & 1/2 Black and White (Wonder if any 'Browns' or 'off colors' showed up? and how THEY were counted).
Anyhow, the report said very peaceful, about an hour worth of 'speeches' etc with one mention of 'trouble'.
One man showed up on the fringes with a pistol on his hip (which is legal) and started shouting at the speaker. A person stepped in front of him, 'trying to reason with him'. Oh, the report NEGLECTED to give the guys race BUT conveniently threw in that he had stated he 'Loved Black People' 'CONSERVATIVE ACTIVIST' T shirt, so it kind of straightens that out.
Anyway, after an hour, the marchers departed and went DOWN the hill (away from Main Street).
Oh some masks were visible, (NOT ALL HAD ON), the 6' rule was broken, most in the pictures were White (that I saw).
And-to the best of my knowledge, the 'MOB' did not return and sack Main St business.
Now anyone in my town or county should NOT wear a Mask and a a FOOL FOR DOING SO, if the County/Town/State Officials allow a PROTEST to assemble on the courthouse steps and block (for how long?) a street so they could 'dissemble' and NOT GET CITED FOR NO MASKS, STANDING with less than 6 feet between them with NO CONSEQUENCES.
If we continue to OBEY the rules (NOT ME) and continue to get harassed by gatherings of ???? then it must be concluded that
A....the General Orders are BUNK/BULLSCHIFF
B....the State/local Govt shouldn't be taken seriously
C....IF THE STATE/LOCAL GOVT etc allows the protestors to be that close does it mean they don't care whether the protestors get the BEERFLU or not? IF TRUE, that may be something to hang their hat on and an excuse for another demonstration.
Oh yes PEACEFUL PROTESTORS EVERYWHERE who CAN'T CONTROL WHAT OTHERS DO......
If the guy above would have gotten 'rowdy' would the other 249 +- people POUNCE on him? Rhetorical Question, I know- If the same guy would have yelled 'RIGHT ON BROTHERS' and tossed a MollieTail at the Courthouse, would ALL OF THEM have just stood there and cheered or try to stop him?
I realize the agitators like to get behind and blend in with the 'peaceful' and the 'peaceful' do get caught in the middle which makes it hard for the Police to act etc BUT if someone throws something and the crowd TURNS ON THE THROWER OR EVEN SUSPECTED THROWER, the snowflakes would soon realize they are NOT WELCOME.
BUT even if peaceful and one refuses to either help stop or at least point out the agitator you are contributing to your own 'problem'.
