Most denominations believe in free will as opposed to believing everything is done for the glory of god, to the degree they are mutually exclusive. Point is that when something bad is happening we do what we can to stop it as opposed to saying “oh well...that is happening for God’s glory”. Not saying that predeterminists have that attitude but I took it to an absurd extreme.
I’m Lutheran. We are absolutely free will believers. But we also know and accept the omnipotency, omniscience snd omnipresence of God as well as the inerrancy of scripture. It is a scripture quote that all things work together for the Glory of God and I’m all things give thanks.
I am merely pointing out that this may be the exact vehicle to restore normalcy and remove the Chains of tyranny. Things have a funny way or working out.
Everything that happens isn’t always good on its own merits, but all things combined is good.
Romans 8:28 KJV - “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Also, what WE mortals consider good and bad is based on a human mindset and standards which aren’t necessarily God’s.
Isaiah 55:8-9 King James Version (KJV) - “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
A Christian’s free well — personal soul liberty — and God’s direction should work out fine in the end.
These riots could serve to end the worldwide WuFlu insanity and the destruction of decent civilizations. Sacrifice a few liberal bastions for the greater good of the world and especially America ... I don’t think that’s a bad thing.
