We are in west Michigan and romaine is the only lettuce we grow, it does fantasticly for us. Here is a picture from last year. Even if it gets hot early it does not bolt for usIMG-4307

I’ll have to give it a try - My wife sometimes uses Romaine Lettuce.

My kale bolted early! At least we have seeds.

Everything is flowering (yay)! Zucchini will be ready to pick next week.

Cauliflower was about ready to pick, but some are flowering. It’s my first time growing it so does this mean we can’t eat it?

No sign of Mexican bean beetles. I hate them with a passion. Every year it is a constant battle to get enough green beans, squash, zuchinni and dukes before they eat up the plants.
