I have no proof of this, but I can’t help wonder if this was a less dangerous, intermediate version of the virus that was used because white hats had destroyed more lethal versions that had been developed. The current version has mortality rates that are in the ballpark of seasonal flu. The only thing it has “going for it” is that it spreads easily. So the DS concluded that, that, in conjunction with a coordinated media disinformation campaign, would be enough to create an event that would achieve their goals.
I’ve also considered that the DS may have released around the world in strategic ways ... for example, now, of all times, Brazil is supposedly seeing a spike and #FakeNews is blaming on Bolinsaro who they always say is “right wing” etc..
