From the beginning I suspected that Trump's hole card would be to invoke the 2nd Amendment, call out the Unorganized Militia and attach it to local police and county sheriffs. But rather than ask all able-bodied men between certain ages to volunteer, he would ask former military personnel to step up. After all, we were trained in the professional use of weaponry, unlike so many others.
Those of us who are too old for tactical duty would man a desk to free up another for tactical duty. At my age I would fit that category. So would a lot of other FReepers.
