I got "Caught" by a convenience store clerk about 10 years ago for trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill.
We had just received it in our garage sale. I actually knew immediately who had given it to us ... a sketchy white lady with a teen "Daughter" who bought something less than $1 and gave us the $20 for the $19 in change. It was low-grade money laundering.
