Seems as though the media, and now the social media, will not tolerate Trump saying anything about CV. They criticize his wanting to end the lockdown and his promotion HCQ. I think media is entitled to be biased against conservatives and republicans. It is their constitutional right.
But I am confused about social media companies...apparently they have some sort of legal immunity against lawsuits that has been put into law. I really dont understand this issue. Twitter puts disclaimers and fact checks on Trump tweets about CV. Does that mean that the immunity to lawsuits should go away?

I think the Democrat preferred model for handling CV is the oppressive heavy handed lockdown in China and the self imposed elimination of privacy used in South Korea to do contact tracing. Without herd immunity this type of lockdown and contact tracing will be used for years and not months. This is exactly the power that they want over people. Mandatory contact tracing and lockdowns are viewed most positively by the left because they are against the constitution and the founding of the nation. Anything against the constitution is viewed as good by Dems.
Ping. Freepmail Impimp to go on the ping list.
RE: Social Media companies, the issue is “platform vs. publisher”...Facebook & Twitter, etc. want to stay platforms (cannot be sued for slander, not ultimately responsible for content posted, etc. vs. being a publisher of content and responsible for it (liability).

On another note, CDC data indicate that the new death numbers peaked on about 16 Apr 20 (coincidentally or not) at the same time they changed the reporting criteria. Since then, the number of new deaths has been on a statistically significant (p < 0.0001) downward trend.
