.These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!

It’s not even clear if POTUS meant that the National Guard would shoot looters or was merely pointing out that shootings are likely occur when looting does, as business owners will shoot to protect their property. Either way, it’s not glorifying violence.
Uh oh... he used the trigger word ‘thugs.’
It’s a racist word when Republicans use it but perfectly acceptable when Democrats in Florida ballot counting offices get flustered by Republi-thugs.
