The msm was in on it, the IG offices were in on it, the senate and house were in on it (remember who was there *before* the Big Retirement post Trump election), etc.
There *were* whistleblowers* and they were eaten alive. Ruined.
not just ruined reputations, but IRS sent after them, bogus charges taken out against them, child protective services trying and all too often succeeding in taking away children from them, etc and so on.
And on occasion, just getting dead.
Word of that circulates. As intended.
Poke your head up and it doesn’t get hammered in, it gets cut off.
But for most of them, the corruption isn’t even visible.
A great incompetence is to believe that the foot soldiers have all the information and knowledge and know the deep plans of the generals and his chosen minions.
Even in non secure jobs, compartmentalism is a real thing. An employee does his job and that’s the sum total of his knowledge and understanding of events. There would be rumors and scuttlebutt, but that’s it.
But there’s always rumors and scuttlebutt. About everything.
Do *you* have the magic crystal ball that allows *you* to magically determine which of the office rumors are true and which are just idiots spouting off about shit they know nothing of?
I’m not making excuses for the bad ones. But to assume that bad was done therefore everyone must be bad is to deny the entirety of known human behavior and actual working reality.
