I have David McGowan’s book “Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon.” IIRC, TEXOKIE compiled a huge amount of info on Laurel Canyon that we all discussed a couple of years ago. Very eye-opening.
One thing that bothered me at the time (I was in high school) was the fact that the music changed from being happy, carefree, and danceable to dark, depressing, and good for nothing but to sit around being sad.
The knees are the weak link.
