More like trying to not attract attention while out and about. Trying to avoid getting shrieked at by some Karen.
The Karens can all kiss my butt. One cheek at a time.
I wore my (black) mask to the Publix yesterday. I instantly felt so..so included, accepted, hailed as a good person who just wants to save lives. Friendly greetings, extra courtesy everywhere, it was all, all.....just a bunch of touchy feely kumbaya cr@p!!
This store is adjacent to a large university so I suppose I was taken as a fellow liberal (eww!). But it was fun looking at some college babe and mouthing exactly what I’d like to...well, never mind.
Solidarity, yeah, that’s what it felt like.

Yup.
The only reason I wear one. Avoiding confrontation is always more prudent. 20 years ago I would not have worn one and FU anybody who would Karen me.
Thats the main reason Im wearing it these days.
