LadyD, America has suffered such subterfuge from infiltration at every level, local, state, national and in every sector that we were on the very precipice of disappearing.
America disappearing is just to horrible to think of. It is the very people of America that make this country exactly what it is and we are hated by an invisible enemy of many who desire nothing less than our complete destruction.
I believe that Q45 has been showing us for the last going on four years how we (Americans) have been SOLD OUT!

You know, I have thought quite a lot about that statement. It’s just common sense that most of us learned as kids after getting into trouble for not heeding warnings until we were “shown” the consequences. Adults who have been out of the classroom setting for a long time especially learn from what they experience vs. what they hear or read.
So I keep thinking about other examples where public behavior and/or attitudes have changes massively after being “shown”.
Tobacco and smoking might be one example. Climate change is NOT, because despite all the methods of persuasion they’ve tried, from Algore’s crap movie to indoctrinating kids, most people don’t believe it nor have they changed their behavior (even hypocrite celebs still fly their private jets).
I think it’s a good question. The majority of people already don’t trust government, but I’d say a majority also don’t think their governmental leaders are corrupt, just ineffective. For most it’s not enough to quit voting for the same kind of people or demanding accountability from those in power. That’s what has to change, and it doesn’t seem like such a huge step.
Covid-19 certainly caused people to change, once they were “shown” i.e. scared witless. Maybe that’s the model to follow?
