My very liberal niece in Alabama has decided to vote for Sessions to spite Trump. She says friends plan to do the same. Interesting. I find it sad that while Trump who I love bashes Sessions, he has never said one nasty thing about Trump.

That doesn’t surprise me at all and I expect that conservatives will vote for him as well. Is that the real goal here? I’m not sure the game has that many levels. I’m leaning towards the animus being real, so I’d really like to see President Trump leave Sessions alone going forward. He’s made his point and he’s beginning to look a bit like a bully in going after Sessions so hard and for so long.
Sessions had the ultimate Boy Scout reputation, so his recusal probably should have been anticipated. The President and Q team may have dropped the ball on that play by not even asking Sessions what he might do if an investigation were started. Were they over-confident holding all three branches? Did they underestimate the depth of derp infiltration?
It looks like someone missed this potential play by the other side in their game theory exercise and PDJT is taking it out on Sessions.
Reverse psychology! I’d feel better if Sessions wins too.
