Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum

That's on the remains of Lowry AFB which got closed down shortly before DIA was built. (replacing Stapleton Airport)

Now that I've thoroughly established my great age (Grandma and I lived in the Denver area when there wasn't much but farms North of Highway 36 clear to Loveland/Fort Collins), I do believe I will take my ancient self to bed.

The great-grand daughters visited today and The Homestead has only now stopped vibrating and come out of that hover mode.

Thanks. I was by there when it was first opening, something for work I think. Never been in.

Lived all my life west of Denver. Left six years ago for the mountains near Fairplay.
