I don’t find that a practical or fitting plan.

Folks who warrant some extra caring because they are trying genuinely & hard and have had little caring in their livesl—I try to extend extra grace & warm & fuzzy stuff to.

Those who are manipulative, devious, harsh, mean etc. get my sternness—usually.

Folks who seem to be on the boundary of such, I seek God’s guidance on how to relate to.

And, I try and behave generally as I’d want behaved toward.

I asked my Dissertation Chairman for his parting suggestions about life.

He had one suggestion.

Be kind.

I thought that was rather Biblical and worth following. Sometimes I’ve been too kind toward jerks. But I’d rather err on that side than be a jerk myself.
