I scanned Rice’s testimony and the unredacted parts do not go into the email.
I have 2 different PDFs of her testimony. I am trying to see if their redaction techniques are sloppy.
Interesting to note that Rice’s caveat about “by the book” doesn’t extend to Comey’s intelligence investigation, which she should know about, but does extend to Comey’s law enforcement investigation which she should know nothing about. And admitted in her testimony to having no knowledge of it.
Unreacted part of Rice’s email raises more questions than it solves:
“Director Comey affirmed that he is proceeding “by the book” as it relates to law enforcement.
From a national security perspective, Comey said he does have some concerns that incoming NSA Flynn is speaking frequently with Russian Ambassador Kislyak.
Comey said that could be an issue as it relates to sharing sensitive information.
President Obama asked if Comey was saying that the NSC should not pass sensitive information related to Russia to Flynn.
Comey replied “potentially.” He added that he has no indication thus far that Flynn has passed classified information to Kislyak, but he noted that “the level of communication is unusual.”

Law enforcement about what? who?
What does “level” mean ? frequency ?
Maybe I can get lucky re: unredacting...
Notice how NOTHING that was previously redacted and has now been released has anything to do with national security. The only reason these things have been redacted is because they are inconvenient for the people in charge.
"By the book"? Who's book is it...a bad book, The Good Book, or "Dreams from My (unknown) Father"?
Also, did I hear correctly that she was instructed by the Soetoro WH Counsel to memorialize a meeting from 15 days back that she did not attend, written 15 minutes after Trump took office?
Only the entire basis of the investigation was made up. The actions to prosecute the investigations were by the book.
(Only thing is, I don’t think they were doing ANYTHING by the book so the dog whistle is, make it look like we were doing it by the book).
