Yes. No need to judge Tesla either good or bad. I think he's smart and I think he knows which way the wind blows. Perhaps that ability helps him scam people (if he's a bad guy) and perhaps that ability helps him see that the Space Age is achievable (with SpaceX) and perhaps that ability helps him see that Trump is going to red pill everyone and change the whole game. It's not about scamming or not scamming. It's not about the political spectrum. It's about knowing what comes next.
Perhaps scam is too harsh, but Teslas are expensive toys sold to people with too much money based on the premise they are saving the planet.
SpaceX has accomplished truly remarkable thing and done it far cheaper than NASA.
