No, they won’t extend it. No chance they will impose this during the tourist season and no possibility to enforce it then either.
If you’ve ever seen Jaws then that is how politics works in tourist towns. It has to or businesses die. IMO a lot of them are already on their death beds due to the closing of hotels and motels back in March. Margins are slim in the best years here.

Yes, I’m well aware. A lot of tourists will have trouble coming since the motels and short-term rentals are closed. Camping in RMNP is going to be limited also.
