Agree, but I thought the same thing about Crocs.
Does any remember "water bumpers"? In the early 70s someone had the idea to wrap water-filled tubes around cars. They were black rubber, like inner tubes. The idea was supposedly to prevent damage in low-velocity collisions. Water bumpers didn't catch on either.
