Haberman is deep state as is NY TImes, I wouldn’t consider them authoritative. Jeff Sessions wrote an open letter to Alabama and his letter is linked at the top of this thread. I’d seen his open letter quoted on Twitter people I read but hunted around to see if it it was anywhere else. I found plenty of sources and went with AL.com. How I wish people actually READ the thread before responding.
I don’t post on these threads just to oppose whatever others are saying so try to understand why this conversation is a waste of my time. I post with interest when people actually have something to say.

So, not only do you not acknowledge what Sessions himself just said, but you prove the case against you further by citing the reportage at the time, despite the reporter of your piece being a CIA derp.
Either way, Sessions himself has confirmed the veracity of the 'rumor' out of his own mouth.
