Are you saying that somehow, the passage of time makes a man wiser, more intelligent, or knowledgable than somebody who signed up last week?
Seniority in life counts for something, and we must respect our elders for the simple fact that they are our elders. If that's what you're talking about, then I'm on your side. But this isn't life. This is the marketplace of ideas. Also, saying with authority and backed by seniority that something is 'just how it is' does not make it so.
And that for sure, is the way it is. I do know that much.
