Perjury was the one thing Obama mentioned in his phone call to his buddies. It can’t be a coincidence. It sounds like coordination.
I think Flynn threw them a huge breaking ball when he plead guilty. [They] never expected that.
I’m behind here, so apologies if this is no longer timely, but I believe they’re trying to make the case that if General Flynn didn’t commit the crime they accused him of (lying to FBI?), then he lied to Judge Sullivan when he pled guilty to the crimes.
I vaguely remember reading a transcript a few months ago wherein Judge Sullivan pressed General Flynn to confirm or deny that he was guilty of the crimes he was pleading guilty to. If he was not guilty, but said he was, that may be what Flynn’s detractors are calling perjury, now that he and his team are saying that he isn’t guilty.
This is a despicable position to take, but they’re desperate and are like monkeys in the zoo flinging poo everywhere hoping that some of it lands on the General.
