...a 350 CB...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My first was the 450. (Also with the high pipes.) ;-)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Mine goes back a little farther, it was a Honda 305 Scrambler.
After awhile I took off the muffler and put something called snuf or not's into those high pipes.
They were like stove pipes dampers that would rotate to open=loud, closed=quiet.
They were to get more horse power. It was a great hill climber.
And the pipes were great at burning legs.
"buggers"
Slide alert!
OK, confession time. I didn't own a 350. I had a 400 Hawk, like this one, but a 400 didn't fit with the tree fiddy meme.
#213 my first road vehicle was a 72 CB 350, road it year round in Michigan when the roads were clear
Good dependable bike but the noisy cam chain drove me nuts
Had a 78 Honda Hawk 400 (really 395cc) with a larger gas tank. Let it sit for years and pretty much varnished the fuel system. It was on the edge of being a basket case anyway.
Gave it away to make room for a Harley, which my better angel kiboshed with a lethal wife eye-roll.
I still have a license to ride with no ride...
