and then my mind wanders over to this NYT article from Nov 9, 2016: WASHINGTON "President Obama is considering removing Adm. Michael S. Rogers from his posts as leader of the National Security Agency and United States Cyber Command after top officials expressed frustration over the speed at which Admiral Rogers had moved to combat the Islamic State and over the agencys repeated loss of closely guarded secrets, administration and intelligence officials said Saturday."
Now if o'bungle was so concerned about this issue why would he remove General Flynn he was doing TOO much? So that is obviously a phoney reason. The meeting with Adm. Rogers and POTUS comes into play.
It goes back to United States vs Reynolds and US codes 10 and 50 and Military-Intelligence convergence and the law of the Title 10/Title 50 debate. But clearly the C_A (no thank you shrubs) usurped military authority. That will be fixed.
And though the covid thing was meant to harm, it actually plays in more conveniently because unlike the early part of the admin. now the mil is already in place to
What an excellent point. We all know Hussein was only pretending to 'fight ISIL'. Likely Rodgers was doing too much as well. Obama sniffed him out as a patriot, and he wasn't too into that.
The History books will look kindly on Admiral Rodgers.
