I saw Hogan was not planning to open MARYLAND schools till winter. An Annapolis article showed January 2021 as it is part of stage 3.
He’s an idiot. Given that asymptomatic children (and maybe asymptomatic young adults) are not as contagious as other folks, I don’t see a problem with opening schools and colleges for summer campus. I wouldn’t have catch-up learning until fall, to prevent crowding, which typically isn’t as bad for summer school, as far as I know.
