...Research shows time and again that the risk of coronavirus spread is much higher indoors, in poorly ventilated spaces in which lots of people have sustained contact. That’s because it primarily spreads via droplets that fly through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks.
A preliminary report from Japanese scientists (which has yet to be peer-reviewed) suggested that the odds an infected person “transmitted COVID-19 in a closed environment was 18.7 times greater compared to an open-air environment.”
There were far too many “essential” workers. Everyone and their cousin, except hair cutters, were deemed “essential”.
