This is a letter from the Linn County, Oregon board of commisioners to Gov. Brown certifying that the county has met all criteria for phase 1 of reopening the county for business. They are petioning for reopening on 15 May.

The letter on the state web site is in PDF, and I don't know how to post an excerpt from it.

I lived in liberal Corvallis for many years and nearby Linn county has always been a red county.

I wonder how Obergruppenfurher Brown will respond?

Back in January I was looking at Lebanon in Lynn county to move to; alas, I should have kept my mouth shut after the Paradise fire as a whole lot of folks went and bought houses up there making property much more expensive. While I was trying to juggle arranging for a job up there (got two) had a sewer break at home and there went the ready cash for the move, got both jobs to hold off - and then COVID hit and there went selling my home in California.

Was really impressed with the area up there, still on my relocation list, just everything is now delayed...
