All the democrats I know still hate Trump more than they did in 2016. Every single one of them has been waiting to vote against him since 2016 and they can't wait. I know republican women who can't stand Trump. I know one well that I went to college with and is a solid republican - she is a physician's assistant in a maternity ward in a hospital and loathes abortion, but hates Trump - really hates him because of how she perceives his behavior as base and then some. I don't see the solid love of Trump that you do.
I think many posters on this website are very insular. They surround themselves with only those that agree with them and hang out on websites that they agree with 100%.
The election in November will be based on the Wuhan virus. It has changed the political landscape like few things before it and the Trump campaign has to retool, rethink and redo the entire campaign. Trump can no longer campaign on the best economy ever. November 2020 was shaping up as the best Republican year since 1980, but I think that is no longer true, but Trump still has the advantage. Voters are fickle and unemployment will go over 20% easily. These are the things that the average voter will be thinking about. Millions won't have jobs to go back to and we hear factories in NC and other states have decided to just not reopen.
I understand why posters believe the way they do, but again, their focus is on their own beliefs and really don't think about how it plays to others that don't share their own beliefs.
Recall when Nixon was in peril, there were hearings for 2 years. There were two years of news daily of papers with screaming headlines and broadcasts filled mostly with the corruption of Nixon - for 2 years. A few cryptic posts by Q hardly compares.
Even after two years, Nixon was an unindicted coconspirator. It would be incredible to see Obama brought to justice, but again, no groundwork has occurred to make that possible.
Posters here are very emotional - all their emotions are expressed in the extreme. Someone responded to me that three presidents should go to jail. That is just an emotional response to policy differences. Policy differences are not criminal - unless you are republican - I do see the double standard as expressed by the press.
As much as I would like to be wrong, I just don't think we will see Obama in orange. I will also predict the mass gnashing of teeth and thousands of posts here saying that someone has a file on Barr and they wonder what it is they are holding over his head and Barr will be bashed like nothing we have seen.
