More derp fakery. I’d like to hear more about how 97% of scientists concur on global warming.

Definitely derp fakery happening in climate science. When I went to middle school, they drilled it into our heads that climate was only definable over a minimum of scores of years, and centuries were even better. Weather was what happened in less than several scores.
As soon as they started throwing money at it that could unaccountably be siphoned off to more nefarious causes, all of a sudden, climate was defined over a mere 30 years.
I believe that our old middle school definition of climate is better, but it eliminates any meaningful discussion of climate change right now because we’ve only been keeping weather records for just over a century. We’re just barely inside the margin to get a baseline for climate, if you don’t count the geologic record, which is also over centuries.
This is heresy to many who’ve been drinking the koolaid - or who remember what climate used to be, and just want the money.
