I think the masks are a troublesome thing. The data is at best mixed. Sweden’s stats are illustrative. So, why bother.

Then there’s the bit about in one region, 100% of all the covid victims had cancer, heart trouble, obesity, major lung problems &/or immune system problems before contracting the virus. That’s huge.

It is, though, interesting that Asian regions that routinely have worn masks for pollution reasons for decades, tend to have lower covid infection rates. Evidently the masks can slow some transmissions down, somewhat.

Myself—I’m increasingly hostile to wearing them, even in public. More likely to wear them in a crowded grocery or some such than in Lowe’s. Wearing them walking in the park now seems absurd or silly, at best.
